Chez n Mal’s Gap Year officially kicks off on Monday 16 Jan 2012! Our first stop is Thailand – 1 week at Koh Samui for some fun in the sun – then it’s on to colourful India for 3 weeks. The Indian leg starts with 3 days in Mumbai with Mal’s sister Rozanna and her two girls to visit Mal’s aunties, uncles and cousins. This is followed by a 2 day trip to the spiritual heart of Hindu India, Varanasi, to see the famous Ganges River (bathing optional). We then embark on 16 days of travel, visiting Delhi, Agra (& the incredible Taj Mahal), Ranthambone National Park (hopefully we’ll see some tigers) before visits to the Pink and Blue cities of Jaipur & Jodphur and the stunning City Palace in Udaipur. We finish up in Mumbai on 14 Feb (Valentine’s Day) before flying out to Nairobi in Kenya, Africa for the next leg of the trip.

Hmmmmm. There’s just too much relaxing to be done in this place. Sipping on a Mai Tai and chilling by the pool at Amari resort. Lots of eye candy for me… Not much for Chez unless she likes fat hair white pommies. (maybe more your style😝). We’ll be here for another six nights then off to the Mother Country to see the homies. Hope you are all well and didn’t get sick from all the Chinese

well it looks like you servived the plane food .
drove to L/R on Sunday had torential rain from walgett to L/R then a nother heavy downpor the next afternoon you guys will know about that if it starts over there .
Hows the holiday going so far no upset tummies I hope .
Make sure you have plenty of ear plugs if your going to go for a swim in the Ganges

Hi Shirley. Send me an email when you are on the computer. If you’re there now, we’ll call. Also, try and install Skype on your computer. Ask Leonie if you’re not sure. It will allow us to make video calls to you for free. That’s how we’re currently communicating with my Family. I’ll get Chez to email you now anyway. Tried to ring you on your birthday Cheryl on Mal,s phone but ended up not getting through then tried to blog you I don,t know if you got it or not . Have just managed to get this b****y thing working again .Hope you had a nice birthday Mum tells me you are in Africa now there,s a lot to see over their. We are flooded in and had the RAAF fly in fuel for the choppers and a C140 is coming in on Friday with food for the shops all the fuel stations ran out of fuel yesterday through panic buying as if they had anywere to go all the roads are cut with flood waters any how hope you are having a great time take plenty of pics so we can see them when you get home.
