Chez n Mal’s Gap Year officially kicks off on Monday 16 Jan 2012! Our first stop is Thailand – 1 week at Koh Samui for some fun in the sun – then it’s on to colourful India for 3 weeks. The Indian leg starts with 3 days in Mumbai with Mal’s sister Rozanna and her two girls to visit Mal’s aunties, uncles and cousins. This is followed by a 2 day trip to the spiritual heart of Hindu India, Varanasi, to see the famous Ganges River (bathing optional). We then embark on 16 days of travel, visiting Delhi, Agra (& the incredible Taj Mahal), Ranthambone National Park (hopefully we’ll see some tigers) before visits to the Pink and Blue cities of Jaipur & Jodphur and the stunning City Palace in Udaipur. We finish up in Mumbai on 14 Feb (Valentine’s Day) before flying out to Nairobi in Kenya, Africa for the next leg of the trip.
